  2. Preliminary announcement that the Lawhill RPC will be holding an Open Show on 8th December 2007, we are affiliated to the Dundee Federation and this should be of interest to Dundee, Angus, Fife and Aberdeen members. We have an excellent line up of judges from Uddingston namely Jim Cullen, Dave Young, Jim Cameron and Matt Stevenson. Jim Hannah will be in attendance to photograph your favourite pigeons. There will be cash prizes for each class, raffle and auction of gift pigeons... so any pigeons or prizes would be welcomed. watch this space for more details on Classes etc which will be confirmed at week end. 3. Recieved latebreds today from Jimmy... FIRST CLASS, superb condition, well reared and ooze quality... these pigeons come highly recommended!!
  4. the birds will tell you what they require... on colder days they will eat more than milder days, each day could differ so bin the scales at this time year... best guide is first half dozen to drink then cease the food.
  5. ...WHATEVER!!!
  6. i didnt state spending thousands guarantees winners, but i'm sure who will agree if you can buy the best you can afford then your chances are increased in producing winning pigeons... its a true fact 'the apple never falls far from the tree' and to obtain these type of pigeons usually means parting with some hard earned cash.
  7. what some fanciers fail to see is the literally thousands even tens of thousands pounds that some lofts spend on quality stock... youngsters from these pigeons are priced generally at a fraction of there true value and represent a true bargain to introduce some quality and not the SH*TE that floods our weekly papers!
  8. no he is looking for some where to use his rope : ;D

    Ventilation

if there is any secret to success then i would say the health of a pigeon and the ventilation go hand in hand... get these two main factors right and your pigeons will defenitely race better, get your system and the feeding right and your pigeons will race faster, get all these pointers put into place and learn how to motivate your birds and you will defo be visiting the prize table!

    Ventilation

depends how many pigeons you intend to keep in each section, obviously the less doos less ventilation required but a good circulation where foul air can escape is paramount
  13. MMH... P40's all round then!!!

  16. SOME OPINIONS ARE BEST KEPT TO ONE SELF!... THE END.
  17. well said, there seems to be alot of 'open mouth and let belly rumble' on this site! maybe a new section should be created for such twats!!! if stuart had a pigeon i fancied i wouldnt hesitate in buying, met the lad at blackpool and a nicer/genuine lad you couldnt meet, the pigeons on display were first class... so enough said no more hijacking and let stuart get on with selling his birds, if your not interested go and pester somebody else!!!

  24. used UNIKON ets last year for first time, absolutely brilliant especailly for young birds... this year our entire club now have it and really enjoy the system (even the fanciers that turned there noses up at it initially) puts every body on a level playing field especially your elder fanciers who are not as quick as they used to be, disabled or handicapped cant understand why some fanciers are still up in arms about the system!
  25. would that be a blood test from vet?
