  14. looking good -yours are ,good luck wuldon
  15. ian out of interest how many birds have been confirmed -thanks
  16. its all to easy to keep too many birds so first decide how many birds your loft can. accomodate then decide if thats too many for your wallet to accomodate . now you have your number replace only on performance. i do think that there is birds for different distances so if you carnt afford it try to pic your distance eg sprint -middle or long, thats my opinion lots of the belgian fanciers think the same and fly only in there distance club.but there are loads of roads to rome-lol.
  17. not at all i always use straw from pet shop not direct from farm never had any trouble .
  18. i find to keep nest bowls warm easy to clean and bird friendly [no sweating] i put shavings in the bowl then coconut nest felt then loads of straw added to the loft floor and topped up at regular intervals, even tho i breed early the young are in my opinion clean healthy and contented.[i always use clean straw]
  19. Been looking in on the live camera all day -great seeing the birds arrive and well done to willey.

alf you not taught her right lol
  21. been parting young birds this week all looking good so first checked to see if feathered under their wings next wing stamped and telephone number rings fitted all one spotted and sprayed -this is something that has been done every year even tho they looked clean.so this w/end will make up my young bird list ready for innoculation, doesnt seem that long since i gave the sec my old bird list[november ]time flies.I am one of the ones that innoculate for paratyphus[spelling] but only the young birds. the weather isnt going to be kind this w/end so a cage on the front of the loft will have to do as the wind is bad at the moment in the n/east and this w/end looks to be the same. HOPE ALL YOUR EGGS HATCH-i am happy with mine.might try to take some pics tomorrow -but loading them is another matter, lol.

  23. anyone traveling down the fog started on bowes moor a66 but cleared just after we got on m6 at tebay -patchy after that. no need to rush checked and all the pubs have had their deliveries.
  24. only fed deligate from your club attends fed meeting you can go but must sit back.diferent places diferent rules so in your fed if you got all your club members to attend you could force proposals through?
  25. in our fed i believe for every 10 members or part there of you have 1 vote.so bigger the club more votes at the fed.
