I purchased some hens from George & Linda last year and found him to be a gentleman, I went to his house to look at these birds but on the way called for money from 2 machines both not working, when I got there I picked out 2 hens and asked George could I send for them or come back as the cash machines I had tried were not working, now bear in mind that I had never met George before in my life and he said to me take them and send me the money I trust you, how many fanciers would do that. The hens were Marden Van Reets direct and he charged exactly what he is asking for his other stock birds £50, try getting them out of magazines now you can put a 2 in front. This man and his wife are true fanciers and most trustworthy, if they tell you something then it will be fact, its just a shame that we are losing fanciers like these. Paul

Hi Mark, yes m8 they were a steal but they are going to a good home and as I stated something had to give as I just have too many stock birds, it wasn't fair on the birds because what few I have bred off them were winning but with only racing the 12 cocks I just couldn't keep enough off them and the new owner will be able to breed a few youngsters off them to race, more often than not I only bred 2 off them each season and some of them I gave away to charity sales and friends. No chance of Mark starting up again then ? Paul
