  3. Be careful when purchasing birds of them, they are top class fanciers but people are now jumping on the band wagon now that they have sold out and are asking exorbitant prices for their birds, if you lokk in Squills there advert always stated £50 a youngster but obviousley if they were direct ie sons and daughters of the top birds they would be more but grandchildren are now up for sale at £200-£250 each in my opinion well overpriced, I paid £50 for a double granddaughter of the immortal Toey which was what the vendor paid Mr & Mrs Mardon for it so once again beware. Paul

  7. Loooking through your birds m8, some crackers but I must say more than that your honesty is refreshing telling people about the hen being wild and such, a lot would have said nothing and let the buyer find out for himself. Paul

  19. I hope so m8 as I have 29 to break, should be interesting. Paul
  20. I think that youngbirds are being given too much crap antibiotics and like, this makes them so that they don't work any more as happened in humans also too much notice is being taken of bits of paper instead of the basket, if a pigeon is ill treat it but some fanciers are giving them week in week out and in my opinion that is why some birds are not 100% healthy they have no immune system. Paul
  21. Mr Bambling, I am only stating my opinion as you do, the way this sport is going with vaccinations and antibiotics the birds are going to look like pin cushions, if that is the way you want to go thats your choice but it isn;t mine if I never win another prize again then so be it, if I have to go down that route then it will be the end of pigeon racing for me. Paul
