Not a feather in south Lanarkshire so far but looking forward to spotting one

We don't start until the 28th thankfully and birds no where ready to race at the moment as weather is crap

Where is the club situated

Yes they have been purchased from Unikon and just trying to pass on some savings to fellow fanciers

I have a contact that has Unikon ETS rings for sale at £1.30 Pm me if you are interested ( these are brand new and just arrived at my contact)

Two arrived today good old Royal Mail lol

Still waiting on last two weeks

Andy it's a fair point you make and if in doubt you could replace the stock eggs with dummy eggs and keep them in the fridge until the feeders lay always remembering to turn the eggs a couple of times per day , that way it should be okay

Andy if the eggs you want are laid 4 days before the feeders lay does that not have an impact on their ability to provide crop milk

Stuart you obviously know me so well as I did take a note of where all the eggs were going and despite that I couldn't find a pair and only then realised I threw them out as they were empty lol

I like to wait at least 7 days to allow me to see if the eggs are full or not

Sorry never noticed the mention of battery

Looking at the Unikon price list and the 3 pin power supply is £48

I can confirm that this club is still going strong but like all clubs it's members get older each year lol

Must commend the auctioneer Les Green for his professional and transparent auction of the Macs birds, with regards to the birds the prices ranged from £100 to a £1000 and the condition and quality of the birds are a credit to the Macs

Charlie Graham (Graham Brothers , Kirkfielfbank ) passed away on Friday 3rd November surrounded by Family, he will be missed by Family and all who knew him,
