sorry for your loss tooshy, but your lucky it only killed 1.it is a stoat and I would keep your pairs together I think they will settle down quicker. had a hut full of budgies killed all except 1 by a stoat I was gutted.

sorry iv never herd of this before, what is done here in GB is to extend our days by artificial light.to make the birds think its high summer and pushes the moult on. I think this is along the lines that you are talking about,hope I haven't mislead you.

class pigeons class fancier ,if I was looking for birds that's where I would be looking.out and out distance fancier.

stopped mine a few year back because of late deliveries they missed 3 copies in the one year, but I was never compensated for them , get all the news I need from the members on here.

I agree with some comments above someone or something has spooked your birds inside the loft you have to find out what it is , or you wont have a racing season they have to feel safe in their own environment. my birds have only been out about 4 times from the last race,which I do every year due to hawk probs. good luck m8.
