best time to try to break birds to your loft is when the cock is driving the hen, a hen that is already broken and vice versa and on a rainy day let the pair out on their own at first, I have always found this the best way.it don't always work.the hen will feed them, but if another cock shows to her she will abandon them.

geo why don't you cut a piece of 1/2"plywood on top of your existing landing board cut it round the stall trap a couple of braces on the loft to stop it toppling over when the weight is on the front and make it so it can lift of __________________________________
