    Testing

We pay £12.50 here in sheffield, I doubt the price would be different for you. They are good, And get back to 1st thing, I'd recommend them to anyone.
  2. i found that last year, Hens was racing in sky for at least hour an half daily, not really had them out much this year but i had cocks out for two weeks and they was doing an hour, And hens took a few days to get to this level. this was before pairing to get them fit and a bit of body off
  3. Snow here on the ground and plenty more to come!
  4. Im sure they can fly, I had some a few years ago, They are fast little buggers! Someone might have an few aviary birds about your way
  5. Cool can see why people pair up a bit later, I just like to get everything paired and parted Out of way, stock birds usually go back down and rear a few more Nice one, Hope it's a winner mate =)
  6. I got my 1st 2013 young bird this morning, and plenty more to hatch! Can't wait til they're parted and flying! Where are you on the breeding process? Atb, Andy.
  7. cheers, Again ill give it a try and no the egg was snow white, Andy might be worth a go, wouldn't mind just getting two ybs this year and keeping old of them as i know they are good blood Thanks, Andy
  8. havent had mine out for a while, currently sitting, once they have big ybs in nest they'll go out on nice days
  9. I have already done the plucking of the feathers, Just giving the current eggs a chance in case they are full, I don't think he's on his last legs, Just maybe passed his breeding days, However even if this is the case he'll stop there, He's a good feeder and that always comes in handy Thanks for the advise, Andy.
  10. Old wives tale in my opinion. I have a few whites, and grizzles and really gay pied and not had a problem.
  11. Thanks, I will give it a try along with the mentioned above things, Haven't yet chucked his eggs away just in case Thank you Ill give it a shot xD
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa2nLEhUcZ0 well it is friday!
  13. Hi have checked that, I just had a quick look and they didn't look full, i had 6 pair lay on same day so ill wait til they have all hatched, if the mentioned cocks dont hatch a within a few days after ill let him go back down now i have took some of the above advise. The stock loft is equal pairs, He's a good sitter i think just no good at filling eggs Thanks for your reply though
  14. Id say 20 - 30, If next year you want more have more, but you might decided this number is perfect. its best to have a few more to get you to end of season and to make sure you have some old birds next year. atb, Andy
  15. I got the 3 in 1 tablets, they are brilliant!
  16. Thank you, Ill do it tomorrow, never had a problem with it before so haven't needed to know
  17. Thank you, I will give that a try. Then hen is a stock bird two, But she's only a 2011 bird but ill look at them, I have older cocks in stock loft, oldest cock been 1997 and he filled and reared two eggs last year! Thank you, I appreciate it, Ill do it tomorrow! Haha yeah, It'd be alright if we could use on old birds! XD Maybe, just haven't had a problem before with pairing up at this time, i will keep trying him and hopefully get a round of him. I might put something out of race loft under him for now and let him rear but would just love a yb or two from him
  18. Thank you, I will give that a try, appreciate that!
  19. Late 2010 i bought a 2003 stock cock, I only bought him because he was cheap enough for what he was, He's a son of a cock whats had a lot of 1st's and topped the fed a good few times. I bred two yb's from him in 2011, raced them, Lost one 2012 i paired him up and he didn't fill his 1st round, Wasn't to fussed because i had more than enough ybs, As the old bird season got on its way, the only young cock i had from him went on to fly well, And get a few cards, including 3rd club, 4th fed getting beat my me only been to slow with the clock! This year, He's sitting and looking at the eggs id say that they was clear again. can anything be done with him or is his breeding life over? cheers, Andy
  20. I got 60 rings, I hope to use them all up + donate a few to breeder/buyers and race what ever i have left
  21. For £60, You could poly carbe the windows no problem =P and still get a cheap loft
  22. Yeah doesn't look a bad loft, If it was local to me id go and fetch it, you cant get a garden she for that price xD
  23. Hope theres some winners inside! I paired up on 20th, odd hen laid in 10 days and some im still waiting for! =P
  24. We have a transporter around our way what trains them, my ybs have been on it before the 1st yb every year apart from last, and until last year they have come well the 1st race, putting them on that transporter learns them so much and for sure my ybs will be on this year
  25. Ill be honest, I haven't 100% decided, ill see how the hens come from training if they come well i might, If not i'll just have to split the cocks and then send then send some cocks and hens to one and all cocks to the other. If the hens fly well ill race more next year and send cocks to one and hens to other, I did that as young birds and it saved any confusion XD
