Daft as it sounds yeah, one reason, i lost a yb in 2010, came back the winter that year and i was short of hens so she had to stop, Paired her up and bred a yb of her, As a yb it scored, 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and was in clock more than that and took the pools, Last year he was barely raced cos of the weather but still managed to score, So for that one reason, every bird what stops in my loft i like to try a yb off.. And as it's only a stray people may not be keen of it, a friend of mine get a stray in, Trained and raced it.. 21 1st prizes later and the blood is still about in the world now.. You don't know what they can do/breed until you try them
