  2. Delboy, you are 100% spot on with your last comment without a shadow of doubt, there is only one way the once mighty SNFC is going....DOWN, and we , the members have to stop this but I fear this may be to late and I hope I am wrong, and I truly mean that.

Is the Scotland 2012 champ JB your ref to ??
  4. Well I personally think after following with interest the OLR is that it's been rushed, I can understand after billy billslands results in the young bird national last year how keen they were to set this up but if they had went about things in the correct procedure then I think it would have been very appealing for 2014 , they just tried to do things to quick IMO. Don't think the publicity out with the pigeon fancy has done the sport any good. No winners in this situation .
  5. what u saying !!, that its not black & white about going with the SNFC & UNC ?
  6. is the OLR loft up yet, been following there web page but dont see any loft pic's on the gallery page, would love to see it happen, the 2000 OLR was good so bring it on.
  7. has to be gray & son for this year in the snfc with the overall averages ,a would guess
  8. well, looks like both nationals had very good returns, pity the whole of scotland did not have blue sky's and no wind for a fair race, but we know before we put the birds away to the race that it does not always turn out that way. well done all who timed especially the leading birds. personally , i dont think committee members or race controllers should pass comment on open forums however hard it is when others have a go, wait till the AGM then say your peace, and yes there are plenty who say a lot and do *expletive removed* all to help at marking's clock setting's etc. IMO
  9. yip, well done snrpc. as far as i hear returns are very good, and as far as only 27 birds on the web-site henrik, its only to show early arrivals.sorry to say the snfc got it wrong , but that happens.
  10. I often wonder , on a lot of fanciers own admission, why they send birds which they know are not up to the job, ie 500 mile racing. Personally I think it does the convoy of birds no good whatsoever , cani get my head round fanciers sending birds they more or less know they will never see again, just to make there number of entries look good on marking night. My own opinion is that there will be a lot of birds timed in from Ypres that are now lost from Clermont and yes I know there will be fanciers out there that have birds that have scored from both races and these are very good birds indeed but Ypres is a different ball game to Clermont. What’s the answer………….not got a clue, but will keep on trying in this sport where there are more low’s than high’s…….
  11. BLEW beeing the word,
  12. u been drinkin Blaz, expletive remove man.
  13. Well done to mr & Mrs D.Elliot on winning the gold cup and to all that timed in, well done.
  14. Out of curiosity does anyone know how that stands with the averages?????? YIP, IT DOES NOT COUNT, gid bird to make it mind like alot more that were just outside the result, but let's no take the shine of the birds that made it IN race time...........
  15. I see the members have to go back the day after basketing to get there clocks set, and with the price of fuel at the present moment I think it may deter members to sent birds in the first place. What was wrong with the way it was done last year (musselburgh rugby club), What do other members think. ?
  16. of subject but is the top table the same after the AGM ?
  17. well, you never heard the fanciers of yesteryear complaining they just got on with it, where ever the race was from, get rid of all they sprinters and get some of the old strain of pigeon back ( if you can still find them ),and you just never know !!
  18. and well done on the numbers entered, great stuff, hope it goes well on Saturday
  19. yer kiddin, really...*expletive removed* me
  20. anybody know who the rest of the judges are ?
  21. Gareth Rankin Believe this was the route cause of it all, which in turn flared into something far bigger. its quite amazing that this part of the history of the split has almost been forgotten about. very true
