when eddie won nantes 1st open ,frank souness dunbar was second , my hen that won snrpc reims is a g/g dtr of the souness bird i know its a wee bit off topic .I think there were many write ups in various weekly and monthly mag's over the years I think D.Dall was ist when frank was 2nd open hotrod, can mind of eddie winning Nantes, but i could be wrong.

A.Lees (eyemouth), S.Bain ( duns ) but there is alot more that fit the bill, but these two have flown well over the last few years, but its only opinions at he end of the day.

Unfortunately the people that are needed at the top table are either Dead, to old for all the crap that goes with it or like it or not, are with the SNRPC. Lets hope for a reasonable out-come for the top table with the SNFC for 2009...

Yesterdays race was yet another disaster for a lot of fanciers why ?. Liberated at 7-45am into a south wind, to early ?, another fed at Selby liberated at 9-30, flying north and the birds are doing 1500 vel with great returns !! Could it be clashing ? Is it to late in the season to be flying young birds ? What’s people’s thoughts on this……..

Why not keep what got through the problem and have some yearling races next year, ( if there is a decent amount left ), it may keep a few people happy and you never know Kenny you may just start to enjoy pigeons again, but it must be hard for you mate. Anyway just a thought.

I, very good flying indeed but I hope there’s no new starts in the club because they will be shaking there heads in disbelief and probable wont stick it out in the pigeon game for long, the good old ETS I presume. Anyway you both had a good race and enjoy your moment. I can’t get 2 birds together never mind them following the tail of the first bird.

I was not prepared to post the actual content of statements read out at meeting because Bruno, I have tried to post thing regarding other treads on the SNFC rumours , call them what u want before only to find they have been withdrawn…ring any bell’s Bruno. How, I care about the SNFC so much so I got a non-fancier to be ready and time pigeons in for me just in case there was a liberation. I had a lot of miles to travel to get there so if me starting the tread got you back up, tuff. Now you can sit and pick holes in my wording, spelling etc and try & have a go at me not being as well educated as your good self Bruno but one thing is for sure the whole thing has been handled badly., and why could these statements not have been sent to each member of the SNFC, by letter, which then would not have wasted everyone’s time travelling etc and might have calmed the situation down a little Definitely end off !! Tell u what gets me; we have a pro in the SNFC who usually has something to say about every little thing that happens. Is he on holiday? Or is he, like the rest sticking his head in the sand. The way this has been handled is absolutely shocking. Lack of genuine experience on the COMMITTEE, not them all but most. The members have been treated like dummies. END OFF.

Well as predicted a complete waste of time. Reminded me of the famous SHU meeting. People travelled a lot of miles to be told nowt, a complete joke. > >

With 8 liberations scheduled at Otterburn it will be a headache for all race controllers, hope all goes well with good returns etc.

surprized u let this thread go as long bruno ;D, no winners right enough.

Can see the point if the pigeons are wing stamped & or have address rings on when it’s likely to be a two day race for obvious reasons, but for one day racing, don’t think it matters if they are wing stamped.

I THINK ITS ONLY CORRECT THAT THE SNFC COME OUT WITH A STATEMENT REGARDING THE RUMORS THAT ARE DOING THE ROUNDS AT THE MOMENT, FOR THE SAKE OF THE HOBY AS A WHOLE . KEEPING THIS QUIET IS ONLY MAKING THINGS WORSE.
