For me the protein content would have to be brought down and replaced with carbs and fats. I would use this on return however but would soon be changed after a few days if I had to use this

Personally it wouldn't be for me strapper I like a variety of grains in my mix there just isn't enough choice for the birds on widowhood. However I feel it would be successful for the moult due to the sulphur content

Afternoon gentleman, would like to let you guys into something I am experimenting with this season. As some are aware I work constant night shifts. The way I have done the darkness system for many years is open up at 8 closed up at 4 in the afternoon. This season with one section I am experimenting with less hours of light. Let me explain about the loft, the loft that is being experimented with, when darkned is not in complete darkness, it's much like moonlight the birds and myself can easily see the drinker, and I know from the water levels being taken they are drinking during the hours of darkness. Unlike the traditional darkness system the birds do not receive the traditional 8 to 9 hours of light but in fact only receive a maximum of 3 hours. The birds have been on the dark since the middle of March. Through observation between the section on traditional darkness, the team on this experiment I have found that the body moult has been and is at much of an excelled rate, and unlike the traditional system where the odd bird may moult a primary I have found in this section there is not one case unlike the other section where there is 3 out of the 16 in the section that have dropped one flight. I personally feel the section with the less hours of light will be able to be taken of the darkness much much sooner then the other team. I will be hopefully updating if I notice any differences with training and racing. I should mention both section are allowed out for exercise daily together so are at the same process of flying around home.

A.Gadsdon first pigeon is blue Chequer cock a son of there 7th LNRC winner a Gavert crossed with a Frank Tasker that had previously bred a fed winner There 2nd bird is of the same combination of Gavert x Tasker and is a Blue Chquer Cock out of a previous fed winner Crossed with a Tasker young bird winner H.Blaker wasn't present to give any details

To be honest I haven't picked the books up as of yet as still reading last weeks books with my cammio appearance. But the ceualmans was something I was looking to introduce into our Thas, Cassaerts and Haeltermans as that's what Bristow and others have been doing and racing them very successfully direct they are cheap as chips supposedly last time I heard 40 euros a piece.

I'd always race them widowhood first race and send them as calm as possible I find leaving the birds with the hens upto 2 hours to be best for the early races

We had a multiple club winner and winner of federation winner with this shaped keel many years bk. I don't like to see it but if you don't race it you'll never know

aslong as the temp is 10 degrees or above in my book its fine to train

will probably start training thursday, many trainers went over my lofts this morning
