I vaccinate exactly one month before the first race this season however it has changed. Regarding birds doing well I topped the fed one week before they got young bird sickness, they were then treated for 3 days and plenty of rest missed one weeks racing then went the next to take the first Three in the federation. All our winning birds the last 12 years When we first had it,have had young bird sickness. We however use a product when notice the first signs, called Xerex it has to be given for Three days in 24 hours you notice a difference. We will only feed pellets at this time as any that are sick will not be able to pick the mush up.

I have young bird sickness every year without fail generally after vaccinating whether it's linked I couldn't say

An excellent fancier put me onto it. I used it every Sunday during the winter, the birds had a perfect moult, I had two tests done results as you said clear. I have not used it in the racing season however I am tempted to try my young bird team as I am lead to believe a lot of the American young bird specialists use it. But it was thin bleach at 10ml per two litres.

I don't do anything to put fire in there belly the basket does that my intention is to send my pigeons calm every week. My widows stay with there hen every Friday for 2 hours prior to basketing. My young birds are run together all day Friday. I like to send them calm. My widows also stay with there hens till 5 o clock if there home early if not even longer.
