If you remember rightly though, Tottenham bought Keane back from liverpool for £15 Million. His currently estimated as £10 Million, Andy Carroll there saying a £20 Million bid would secure him, so i would have thought if the rumours was true Keane plus £5 Million, would be a good deal for Newcastle, and for Carroll. In all aspects Tottenham don't need Carroll at all, they would be better sticking to there prospects of Gary Cahill, and Chris Samba to cover the back four, in which they really need to strenghten with not injury prone players.

Being a spurs man, rumour is Keane is going to Newcastle with carrol coming the opposite way, with a million fee going to Newcastle.
