I really don't know maybe one of the top eyesign blokes can comment on it? would very much doubt it has anything to do with sun exposure, as surely pigeons are supposed to be out in the open, would mean most pigeons eyes kept in an aviary as well as street pigeons would be like this?
Was having a look around facebook, and found this photo, never seen an eye like this, Would have thought the pigeon would be nearly blind, as it doesnt really seem to have a pupil, what are your thoughts on this?
I have a full brother to lot ones sire, in 2 years breeding he has bred two federation winners, i believe its the same situation, with Colins cock the same way bred breeding a couple of federation winners also. There brilliant birds as you say paul id advise anyone to buy them
Not being funny, i wouldnt phone a man and ask him his results in the last 6 years, unless i was interested in his pigeons, however if i was interested in his pigeons i would know his results. I was asking to see if anyone knew how well he had done after 2004, as i know his results up to then. I feel it would just seem rude to ask that question.
Out of interest Is Mark still winning big with these pigeons, as alot of his breeders and champion racers seem very old, the youngest will be 8 year old next year? And the only results i have seen are not recent either?
Mike Ganus, is of syndicates lofts, its a stud and they have three loft locations one in england, one in america and one in holland. If you look on Mike Ganus website you'll find the grizzles few and far between, so obviously i would have felt they never made the grade as this is a racing loft also.
I believe there middle distance suited to 200-400 miles from Ludo Claessen, a very interesting story with this family of birds, was that from out of nowhere a beautiful white grizzle landed in his garden. Ludo contacted the Belgium Royal Federation who then told him the fancier had died. Ludo liked the bird so much he kept him and bred out of him. From this bird he bred a 13th Provincial Orleans 3,069 birds and then 4th Provincial Chatteroux 2,031birds. Im lead to believe this family Mike has created are based around two birds The White Horse and the Golden Witten
I understand that Delboy, however there comes situations when at times you do need to use medication no matter how many natural products you use. Natural products is the way to go as well as natural immunity, im not rejecting that. However it seems these days you cannot mention products on a forum without being told medication is the wrong way no matter what. I am not having a pop at you Delboy, just my findings off late. Just one quick question though, have you never had to go to the medicine cupboard in your career in pigeons? Cheers mate
Really, do you find them hard to get hold off, i've always found them easily accessible? What products would you rate the best, ive heard so much about this product B.S?
would stay away from the straw, especially in a damp environment as the straw will have fungus infestation, and is a great breeding ground for other nasties due to the warmth
