I agree with Micks post,myself personally i like to offer my birds a good variation of grains when breeding, and allow the birds to take what they like. Typically during breeding ill feed my birds 3-4 times a day, and they may receive 3 different breeding mixtures. I am a big fan of colostrum, and that would be on the corn every single day from hatching. They will also receive peanuts and homoform which they relish, as well as the usual grits. Breeding is the most important time of the year as it builds your foundations for the future, so i do my best to give the young birds the best start in life, and build a bond with them in the nest
