Valley is based in Hurlford, just next to Kilmarnock, but the club members come from Kilbirnie, Lugton, Irvine as well as Kilmarnock area. We are the club that takes those the others don't.

We have had the Ghanian team visit our Arena and gave the kids a mini competition. We have the Scotland team using our place as their base camp for training etc and they will be coming to some of our sessions to talk to the kids. We also have the possibility of the Jamaican team coming along for a visit, so good times for our kids having this opportunity.

I haven't ever raced youngsters. When I start them as Yearlings I don't lose over many, around 50% maybe, which seems fair given the horror stories regarding yb losses during racing season, but certainly not snaw aff a dyke. I think you have to adapt and thole it out, especially given the BOP in your area. BOP are great adaptors, so we have to continually attempt to be one step in front.
