The weather looks set fair for Saturday, not to hot and an early lib likely. I personally don't think these conditions merit water syringed down their throats. You may hear people say they don't feed them on a Friday to get them to trap, don't go down this road. Half their daily ration fed early should see that they take on enough fluid for the pending race. Good luck.

No I never sent Andy, my young'uns copped the y/b/s last weekend. A lot of fanciers stopped training a couple of weeks ago due to the heat wave we've been experiencing, I can only think this is the reason................. or their young'uns have copped the y/b/s too!

Ask your friend if he has considered using Easibed as a floor dressing. A depth of around 4 inches is ideal and no need to use sand/lime.

If it was decided to stop y/bird racing for a year you wouldn't get an argument from me. I fear that if racing was stopped for a year or longer the fancy would lose quite a few members to other pastimes.

Don't send them with full crops, feed them half their daily ration as early as possible on day of basketing. Good luck.
