    Joke

Bloke walks into a pub and asks for a pint of anything except Stout. Barman asks, "What's wrong with Stout?" Bloke says, "I had 12 pints of Stout last night and when I came round I was f*#king skint." Barman says, "12 pints of anything costs about the same." Bloke replies, "Skint's my dog."

    Hawks

The only way to beat them is to get them of the protected list................ the only way to get them of the protected list is to fund a count on their true numbers. There's a reason why the RSPB wont commission a count!!!

  19. My own thoughts on this is that stress causes this by taking them out of the nest and moving them over to the y/bird section. The tail feathers are ok in the nest and generally drop a week or two after moving them over.
  20. If you intend to train heavy I would leave them together.
  21. I believe if you race old birds on widowhood they benefit from racing the full programme as babies. Winding up w/h cocks with very little or no experience more times than not results in heavy losses in the early races.
  22. I have heard of youngsters acting like this that were mid a canker treatment (course of Ronidazol). The solution was made up to strong resulting in the youngsters acting as if drunk. Could be the Flygal is having the same sort of effect!, in 24 hours you should see an improvement if this is so.

Yes, Saturday liberation. Only a handful of birds home. Well done to those that have timed.

Yes Bernie, it changed about 3 years ago. We're not sending the amount of birds we once did, to keep it to the first 100 would cheapen the achievement somewhat.
