Put a plastic clip on ring on the non ring leg and tie a bit of string between the two rings pulling the legs closer together. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't, depends on how quick you catch it.

In your position with untrained/unraced yearlings I would be more inclined to feed to get home rather than feed for a sprint. Just don't send them with bulging crops, half measure AM on day of basketing will be enough.

Am not sure if partnerships are counted as 2,3,4 etc. members, if so these figures are not a true reflection. How many loft numbers per year that have paid subscriptions would give a truer picture.
Your best bet is to mix 10-15% barley in your feed and feed in a trough a handful at a time until they start leaving the barley. There's to many variables to answer in one.
