Have read this very interesting thread, where members are putting forward their opinions.....but not much talked about the distances to be flown. Not wishing to hi-jack this thread, but would the widowhood & roundabout systems still be good for distance pigeons, that may face a holdover ?

I think you have a lot of thinking to do before you buy any pigeons. As Jimmy White & Tractorboy have said...decide what distance you would like to go for ( no sense buying sprinters, when you would want them for the distance ) This may also decide on your type of loft, fittings, trapping arrangements etc. Have a think about this first.....don't worry, plenty of time for birds.

Comes on a fair sized roll...approx. 3ft wide......memory serves my last roll was £16.oo
