Big changes already started here , Andy. All birds going, take off sputniks and replace with full length aviary verandahs. One loft already done. Get the lofts well cleaned out, dispose of nest boxes and perches. Hopefully stock up with selection of canaries and other cage birds. Take a bit of pleasure out of just listening to the canaries singing their hearts out. Too much hassle and lack of enjoyment for me these days with pigeons.

Pics of 2 breeding boxes as a few members requested. Type A with pull out wire floor ( no wire in pic ! ) and pull out tray. Type B solid base (deep litter or scrape out) Both boxes were also made with opaque doors, to suit pairs that liked a bit of privacy and quiet.

Even living out here in the sticks, last year we had a lack of sparrows about the place. This year, different ball-game, with the 'bottom garden' full of them, and they're breeding well.
