  16. If you do get these older birds in, maybe a good idea to give them a short course of probiotics as well.
  17. The biggest fear I ever had when bringing in birds of an age, was how the move would affect them. I've always 'spoiled' such imports, and gave them the best of everything. I once purchased 4 pairs of direct Dordins when they were 9 & 10 years old, and I knew I was taking a risk. Anyhow, got them home, treated them with the best, and they all went on to breed well.....the youngsters flew well and included a few winners. I also gave them a few months to settle before pairing them.
  18. Frosty start. Light cloud, sun is out, very light breeze. A nice morning.

  20. So, you couldn't find it on Google !! That's 2 things you know nothing about.....plywood & pigeons !!
  21. Looking forward to the answer to this........what's P S B ply ?
  22. Taking advice from you.....now that is a joke !!
  23. Since the recent storms and heavy, persistent rainfall resulting in serious floods, I find the humour in this type of post beyond me. There has been damage to homes & commercial property, with estimated costs across the UK running into many millions of pounds. People have been made homeless (hopefully temporary) businesses large and small may be threatened with closure. The old, weak, frail , infirm & medically dependant may have to suffer more than they currently endure. Ordinary folk may have had their lives damaged & changed forever. For Gods' sake 2 people lost their lives as a direct result. Sorry, but I can't even raise a smile.....and I'm sure there won't be many of those who suffered, and continue to do so, who will join you. OMO.
  24. Exactly. Basically speaking, WBP will tolerate low to moderate weather exposure. Due to its' different construction and components, marine ply is more tolerant. Believe it or not, plywood is a fairly technical affair, and has many types of grading. It can depend on timbers used, 'glues' & bonding agents used or even the angles employed when laying down the layers. Some layers are set down at 45degrees to each other, whilst others can be 30degrees.........Sorry, getting carried away !! Sad, so sad.
