in my case i timed at 10.42 on the day a stirling fancier with an 11 mile o/fly timed in at 4.45 in the morning to beat me cos the race was closed from 10.30 to 4.30 surely this rule should be scrapped this was a scc race from brussels and my hen had done 16 an a half hours on the wing
i've 8 away so good luck to all, going to a weddin reception tonite so hopefully ets will come in handy hoping they get the SEwind a good bit up the road
the race has closed at 10.30 u would be credited with a 4.30 time in. happened to me out of a channel race few years back i timed at 10.42 but was given the time of 4.30 and a pigeon timed after 4.30 but flying 12 miles further than me beat me in the race was i raging or what
stuck to ma faithers *expletive removed* when he went to ma grandfaithers whaur the doos were kept many moons ago.Loads of memories and i'm 45this year
the best stuff i used which i brought back from belgium was the vermin glue.you put this stuff on a piece of plywood in a complete circle (no breaks) and then put your bait in the centre, once they stepped on this glue there's no way there coming off this plywood.even when the ones that were stuck were wriggling about it didn't deter others from walking across the glue
how do the general fancy basket their birds on marking night,i used to do them both at the same time but after altering the loft this isn't so easy now,so i'm thinking about basketing the cock first then going back for the hen,any ideas (ok)
