about 12(6 from the forth bridges 14mls by road)till i thought they had their heads round it then 2 from dreghorn barracks then 4/5 from dalkeith 30mls approx missed the first 2 races due to YBS back to the first training point to kick start them off again then ratho,dreghorn x 2 then 2 from soutra hill with the bo'ness transporter into the 3rd race otterburn 82mls last saturday 42/48 3rd club 370birds

2 SUCCESFUL cases in the above 2 posts so all is not lost

had one like this a few weeks back just locked him in a nest box for 2 weeks till i seen him starting to put his own weight on it he will stand on 1 leg till the other 1 heals sufficiently enough,i put a 3 pint drinker in the nestbox and only changed his water every 3 days to avoid disturbing him same with food enough to last him for 3 days at a time this bird is now back training

42/48 quite happy this was their first race 84mls

aye your right there frank i put droppings test into him on 2 occasions and had to end up phoning him for the results after 3 days of waiting

if you want to excel at club racing then i would go for sprint to middle distance based pigeons but as gareth says different pigeons are needed for spending time on the wing which distance racing is partly about

think everyone can identify a buzzard thats maybe why fifers asking he obviously doesn't think so

he used to house the houben pigeons and ones he created himself through various strains i think he called them carrera evolutions i think(might be wrong) he hasn't been at blackpool show for 2/3 yrs now where he was a ever attender,did he not get involved with the cooper bros?
