  4. AW NAW!!!! so thats how whitty's doo that won the national kent the road hame
  5. surely after winning the kings cup and the circumstances outwith his control he would be welcomed with open arms, surely the commitee couldn't be as cold as to say he wouldn't be welcome give the secy a phone and state your case best of luck
  6. think your bang out of order with this comment,it takes time and dedication to win in shorter distances with bigger birdages ie i don't fly in the UNC but to to win out of 20,000 + pigeons from the coast or shorter is a dream come true, each to their own and if you like distance racing then keep your comments for posts in that category,ps i would welcome your comments on what you regard as sprint
  7. who says it stops the bird from winning i just said my personal preference is that a bird with 1 ring on either leg is enough if you want to make the bird uncomfortable carrying endless amount of rings when a single wing stamp which i've already said is easily wiped out is more than adequate, why don't you put a numbered ring on it aswell to let you know which nestbox it was reared in
  8. you don't take the stamp off you just make it unreadable with a marker pen etc the bird will moult the flight out no harm done,i think they carry enough rings with their birth ring on 1 leg and the ets ring on the other
  9. used them once never again lost a couple of newly hatched young which had fell in between the gaps, prob my fault as i could have cut the stalks shorter, now i just wrap the nest bowls in newspaper and put in a nest felt much warmer/comfortable/hygienic jmo
  10. bought 6 soontjens of jimmy bamling this year decided not to race them, looking forward to taking youngsters off them 2011 and racing them then maybe crossing them in with my w doxcs in 2012 these are the plans we will see how it goes
  11. as i said wiley weeeeeeel say no more just that i think he should be doing more of the same on a weekly basis obviously you have a differing opinion
  12. weeeeeeel say no more as it is
  13. yes cos he's an attcking midfielder so he should be looking to score a few, also the gifted player that he is he should be setting them up aswell.last scored on the 21st aug with 2 against stoke, missed umpteen with the games i've seen on the box
  14. not scoring the goals he was at the start although he did get an assist at the weekend
  15. pity cos he's the man thats making them tick the now,if bale finds the form he showed at the start of the season then i think spurs can win
  16. heres hoping.going round to a mates a few of us have a few millers, well at 6 quid a case you've got to think man utd will win and spurs also van der vaart is on good form the now
  17. after blackpool weekend,on the first reasonable weekend weather wise
  18. nice pigeon klaus hope he does you a turn in the stock loft martin
  19. is that the bird in your avatar klaus and if not could you put up a photo of the bird when you get the time cheers
  20. steven i bred off these birds last year but with them being into a new envoirement they didn't settle as i would have liked so youngsters off them were not the requirement i would have liked (not as many as iwould have liked, qaulity of the youngsters i did get could not be faulted)this year breeding was a different story so looking forward to racing these birds next year,in fact iwas on the phone to my auld man today when i had them them out and i commented to him how impressed i was with the way they were shaping up,time will tell and i'll keep you's posted
  21. ian axe is another delbar man but i've noticed thru the years that he has started to add the j aardens thru the pedigrees that i have viewed.looking at axe's stock pigeons throughout the years off going to blackpool they always look a bit to showy for me and having been fool enough to buy 2/3 over the years they only found one route (bin).the best delbars in the country were without doubt those of JL Roberts who was a personal friend of maurice delbar and latterly delbars son michael but alas after jacks death his daughter dispersed off all jacks pigeons (to where nobody knows)but you never see them for sale on the open market
  22. these were direct mardon svr's i've got 6 of jimmy's old original stock birds the oldest being a mealy cock who's 11 yrs next year, got a latebred out of him this year a strawberry mealy which is going in the stock loft
  23. if i was to keep putting food into my stock hens billy they would do the same but the rest of my birds are happy with what i put down
  24. put in the hopper what he thinks they should get then walk away
