  3. mine were away today with the forth and clyde transporter for their 2nd toss from dalkeith came over grangemouth in 2 big batches 200+ in each batch joy to watch them breaking out of the batches before the ones that didn't break head of into bonnybridge and surrounding areas got them about 20 minutes later best of luck to all racing this week and heres hoping they all stay healthy

  5. what i will say alan is he has covered alot of miles in the last 2 days he has virtually no bodyweight and believe me he was sent with plenty so i think he has been well off his route but i believe he will be a better doo for it, hope you's get your good hen and with him coming in today shows that they are still working away at it

  11. why would you want to pull them out if the feather is sound and intact i've seen these and normally it's dry blood staining the quill but doesn't seem to affect the bird and it would moult it out in time

  14. hard to say lewis these are just single birds 3 bird doos would need to work on their own after that and thats if there are any 3 bird doos with them

  18. don't think their transfered as such because the ring card is proof of ownership but you can register them with the unions in case they get lost

  22. then why when he was selling them in the 70's did he advertise them as ko nipius and not jan aardens and he did advertise them cos my father was one of the first to buy them off him and travelled up to bobs in fraserburgh from central scotland,these birds my father bought were eventually sold onto ireland where fanciers couldn't get enough of them mr and mrs kippax were another who sold them as ko nipius
