    1St Toss

happened to us at dunbar on thursday peregrine just came from nowhere 4 split from the batch and it singled out a dark cheq, these things don't need to drop from height it was about a car length from the doo chasing it and it just dropped a gear and was just about to nail the doo but the doo done a half jink and the peregrine was knocked out of it's stride and the doo went to ground, you can only stand and watch and will the wee doo to fly it's heart out to escape these things, anyway we got all the birds home from the toss which was a plus point but a dark cheq hen was late in coming but survived thats the main thing

    S.M.A

got to agree with this used it last year and saw no difference whatsoever another fad jmo quality food plenty clean drinking water and good parents and the usual grit/minerals/clay blocks
  13. and another good call lewis
  14. not doing the dark this year after doing it the last 3 years, reason being that with a fed programme of 6 races out to ripon at 158 mls and never flying the y/b national and never intending to i just don't see the point in putting the birds thru that when i've competed out to the the young bird open with the natural youngsters, this is what the 2nd round ones were for and on a second note with being on roundabout for years now i feel i don't get time to enjoy the birds in the garden like i used to because as soon as they land their called in and fed and not disturbed till the next day so this year natural youngsters for me and a bit of qaulity time spent watching the youngsters going about the garden etc
