This is adorable. Baby's First Doctor Visit . A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, Waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam. The doctor arrived, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed. 'Breast-fed,' she replied. 'Well, strip down to your waist,' the doctor ordered. She did. He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination. Motioning to her to get dressed, the doctor said, 'No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk.' I know,' she said, 'I'm his Grandma, But I'm glad I came.' He said to me . . . I don't know why you wear a bra; you've got nothing to put in it. I said to him . . . You wear pants don't you? He said to me . . ..... Shall we try swapping positions tonight? She said, That's a good idea - you stand by the ironing board while I sit on the sofa and fart! He said to me. ... What have you been doing with all the grocery money I gave you? I said to him. .....Turn sideways and look in the mirror! He said to me. ..... Why don't women blink during foreplay? I said to him.. . They don't have time He said to me. . How many men does it take to change a roll of toilet paper? I said to him .. . We don't know; it has never happened. He said to me. . Why is it difficult to find men who are sensitive, caring and Good- looking? I said to him . . . They already have boyfriends. I said...What do you call a woman who knows where her husband is every night? He said. . . A widow. He said to me . .. . Why are married women heavier than single women? I said to him . . . Single women come home, see what's in the fridge and go to bed. Married women come home, see what's in bed and go to the fridge. SEND THIS TO A SMART WOMAN WHO NEEDS A LAUGH AND TO THE GUYS YOU THINK CAN HANDLE IT! BUYINGViagra An old man goes into a drug store to buy some Viagra. 'Can I have 6 tablets, cut in quarters?' 'I can cut them for you' said Dan the pharmacist ' But a quarter tablet will not give you a full erection. ' 'I am 96' said the old man 'I don't want an erection. I just want it sticking out far enough so I don't p*ss on my slippers.'

You know, was told in the 60's regards a couple of different reasons. I.e. when matching etc. and when laurels are being presented. 'Never mind who he fought and beat... what about those he didn't or wouldn't fight'! Yes, just look at Hatton's records, and see the good fighters names he DIDN'T fight! never mind running for so long so sucessfully from Junior Witter. Yes sure, he got the cash! fact that and who can blame him! No one, and he certainly wouldn't have got so much after the likes of Witter had beaten him. Good Managerment. Remember Minter? We all told im to run from Hagler - now there is a grea, alongside of Tiger, Monson etc. etc. AND that the best he could do was win a blumming hard fight, IF he won that is, on points. Anf 15 rounds against a good class boxer with a good punch is a blumming long night. Pride cost him an absolute fortune. So yes Joe, and Ricky you did right, and have credit from Joe public... and a bank balance that says' Never mind who I wouldn't fight'!
-
No Gangster, he fought an old 44 year old, coming out of retirement after inactive for nearly two years. And many thought Bernard had won! But the decision counts and Joe juct about got that. just look at the names, including Hopkins, who he didn't fight, and when suppose too, never turned up! Yeah a 'Bd hand' golly just how many times does he get a bad hand? Only when ever he was fighting a person he'd beat... Any doubt and that HAND.... STRUTH.Now that tells me 'Bad Training, NEVER learning, bad managerment... Or rather good managerment. We all do it, I've pulled lads out of the Midlands Final, with Doc cert, or bad hands... Kept their' rankings, and fought lesser opponents. Good luck Joe, you know, and ...

Have to agree 100% with the Wee red Hens. Joe will go down as a great deservedly so... but very well managed and in a great decade. Nigel Benn actually also - like Eubanks - fought the best when they were in THEIR PRIME. None of the excuses everytime matcth. Americians Boxing Rags call him the 'Nearly Ran'. into a fight... and quicker away from one. Terry Downs only got cut up be the best, till his old pal stopped him in the last fight... Yes giving him a good pay day to pack up with. Can easierly name 6-7 that were far too good for Joe. But credit where cred is due... he earnt some cash, got a good rep and his dad deserves a medal.

Read once a good article that stated that all strains, families etc. regardless of what distance one wishes to focus on, should only be cultivated by used proven distance birds. Many reasons for this make perfect sence too.

About time that all clubs were members of Feds. All Feds members of Algam. All Algamations part of combines, all comebines fly in a decent section, and of course all Sections part of Nationals nigh every week. It is the prestige, deserved merits that most fly for.
-
So some just fly nationals. The lack of training, I.e. be able to use club races as such, is often put forward as. This is not really the case, the possibility is more the Comradeship I feel one missing is the most off putting. Now as a member of the RPRA, there is nothing to stop anyone going to any club on basketing nights and sending their birds for this purpose. Even having a club, or their’ ET set. They have to do this by the rules of the RPRA! I did one year, and was quickly accepted as such in that particular club. Indeed when I moved within their radius later in life I was voted in no problem. When I moved back to this area of course I had real problems getting into the local clubs. Indeed I was refused entry on silly trumped up rubbish. Hence I travelled 20 miles one way just to fly. Another Club in a good eastern location Fed wise open up it's radius to accommodate another folding club. I was allowed in that, I am 10 miles West of them or more to some of the flyers... But I fly. Then the folding club re - open only 6 miles from me... same line of flight nigh as me too... so now I am in three clubs, but the ones I originally I'm not.... But one does overtures for me to join ... they need funds raising... Won't happen. So till this season I have flew at a disadvantage, travel far a field... and as I worked most week - end nights I still had a problem flying. Sure was told I could leave the birds and they would take them. Did once, they were in so much of a rush they forgot mine. Then the 'Wife' is adamant each time that they don't know oat, and cats etc. etc. so never happens. Now am sorted, so looking for a relaxing retirement, and peeing the missis off via spending time with the pigeons.

Of course, untill then I will advocate that I use it for the Ticks / lice or whatever it stills gets rid of, and then there will be no disappointment either way later on if it does,or doesn't have any other beneficial effects in any other way.

Getting to know the family, and their strengths and weaknesses obviously takes time... yes a proven time limit could be put into effect. Yet very often a not so good bird(s) breed the goods. I believe, and this is just me, that you must set a system up that suits you, and not change willy nilly for the birds, and definately not because Joe Blog says so, or does differently. It will be aimed at the kind of races / distances you prefer, and hence more likely to enjoy. Again your work pattern and help, if any, should be taken also into account. No good starting off with the wife, or friend doing a bit... this often changes, or becomes impractical. Managerment is the main difference to sprint / middle / distance races regardless what one is left to believe. If a bird can fly well on a hard distance day, it can also wi at the sprints, but most likely under a different system. Yet most couldn't beat a paper bag on a windy day. So set the stool out for what you wish to achieve and then...

Roland, you are right. While the chemical is gone from the pigeon after a few days, the GABBA effect lingers on for quite a long time, affecting the neurotransmitters of the parasites and killing them -- including mites and pigeon flies. It is not the "poison" that does them in, but the disruption of their neurotransmitters. Well in that case it is well worth using - as I harp on - for that alone, and any extra, real or imaginary, would also be a bonus. Golly if it kills Collie dogs, and the likes, then once dead they can't become immuned!

Well whilst it is great parr moment having a few competitors, I feel, like the Gas, Electric etc. etc. they will soon have an unwritten cartel. The Gas, Electric etc. etc. means normally for the same service there is in reality about50p per quarter difference. Now Thatcherism used the very conceicable idea that competition would drive down prices and standards would have to rise. That of course is just a load of ole twaddle and basically untrue. Now prices may alter due to say Fuel costs, and these couriers prices were as they are now. Fine, I have no bone to grind there.... Deasil 128 or more a litre. Now just over a £1 mark. 20% is the difference. Fine, no problem there then, BUT what I shall be looking for is if there is increases later up to that same price and it is used as an excuse to raise costs.

Clubs are allowed to have their own rules, of course they are, as long as it doesn't conflict with the governing body, I.e. the RPRA which obviously overrides any unlawful club rule. Likewaise with any institute, union or what have you, they have their own rules and guide lines, but can't over ride the Goverments.

Well that was a mis - quote, it actually says 'The love of money is the root of all evil', though the gist is there of course.
-
Nuts, was trying to please the missis.... missed the deadline. Was waiting to see the bids.

No need for that crap scenario of jealous, it is uncalled for! Besides being plain stupid to imply, it once again carries no merit whatsoever. That is a lame crutch for being unable to see the truth, or not wanting 98% of the time. Other than that, I don't know Terry, and his perdicuments regards clubs and club racing. But would say that in terms of value, that is a blumming good bird and at todays prices could well be worth the grand he seeks. Very few indeed is it when a proven breeder hits the market.
-
Yep, I once used Kerbs left handily near by on the road... Was told, which I fortunately did, to bolt through and secure the loft down on them. Left of course air ways, and wire meshed it so nowt got under bar air.
-
Well I'm baffled as to whay the lice, ticks etc. carry on dying all season if the Invetomec is gone after a fornight. Might look like a cabbage... but green I'm not.

I feel that you are both forceful and taking unecessary stances, just my view. Easier by far to disagree than be disagreeable. JMO

Aye he might have, and as long as he thinks I'm stupid I am one up on him or anyone else with a good head start. Mark, I have sent you the gist, but I'm not into knitting ;D
