Well I have had three Emails from Elimar regards my email to him. I will of course address Oldyellow personally with my finddings. But I have to say that in this case A. He acted fairly and wisely. B. That Oldyellow was lucky and C. That oldyellow missed out on a deal. D. Though I still have the same thoughts in general regards Les, I will in this case agree with him. So as far as I am concerned, though Oldyellow may well feel agrieved, this matter is closed. So if Mark sends me his personal email I will share my finding with him.

I appoligise ... yes and the fellow hasn't answered my Email either as of yet... so while the time away till new developements seems a good idea in retrospect.

Mind loverly photo's them. Shows patience and slow movements around the birds. The only thing my ex was good for was calling the birds in. One 'Come on my babies' even when they were circling and they'd hit the traps like the clappers and go in.

Yes knew a great local fancier called John pepper, he sat aside the open door on race days, and they land aside of him. He just gentlely reached over and take the rubbers off in the door way. Truth that!

Mind I like barley as a Blood Purifyer. As for wieght, well they can become overwieght on it if not careful - mine ara might now - as they tend to overeat if allowed, to get other Nutritions / elements that barley only has in small quanaties and eat too much. Yes the droppings are greater too obviously. Like a little Linseed / wheat too.

I have written as such via Email the following to the auction site. 6th November 2008 Sir, May I ask why the highest bidder, in this case Oddyellow, sees the pigeon quite properly attained as the highest bidder within the time limit of course, go to someone else? Surely this is a diabolical situation, one that doesn't auger well for any future so called Auctions that you may be involved with in the future. Any enlightenment in these regards wouldn't go amiss I could assure you. As you no doubt realise much can be read into this, indeed mush written, but a simple explanation warranted would suffice. Yours perplexed Roland

Go for Broke Mark. I would. As for that arrogant a**ehole, I wouldn't pee in his ear if his brain was on fire! He just makes it up to suit him and his cronies, always has and no doubt will do. Bet the bird went to an 'Mate'[ A fellow with means, as he only ever promotes those with means. A few 'Bob' and Robert's your mothers brother as far as he is concern. Thinks the 'Grass Rootes' are only there to support the 'Haves'. Mind, believe it or not, I don't particular care for the crud. But then who...

Lesley and her husband Barry went for counselling after 37 years of marriage. When asked what the problem was, Lesley went into a passionate, painful tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 37 years they had been married. She went on and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet needs she had endured over the course of their marriage. Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk and, after asking Lesley to stand, unbuttoned her blouse, embraced her, put his hands on her breasts, and kissed her passionately as her husband Barry watched with a raised eyebrow. Lesley shut up, buttoned up her blouse, and quietly sat down as though in a daze. The therapist turned to Barry and said, 'This is what your wife needs at least three times a week. Can you do this?' Barry thought for a moment and replied, 'Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I play golf ..... can you pick her up?' Why females should avoid a girls night out after they are married.... The other night I was invited out for a night with the 'girls'. I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, 'I promise!' Well, the hours passed and the wine went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed three times. Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another nine times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him 'MIDNIGHT'... he didn't seem perturbed in the least. Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said 'We need a new cuckoo clock.' When I asked him why, he said, 'Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said 'oh s**t.' Cuckooed four more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.

Agree with Superstar there.

Feel for you Mark.... Wonder if it wa an 'ole Pals' act! Not knowing of course, but be my guess. Further we all know of the tricks of the trade in promoting false bids etc. and also hammer down wuickly.... or just as has happened to you. So, so sorry for you matey, but day's end only redress open to you will be name and shame, but he / and probably the new owner won't give a fickled rats *expletive removed*.

Build it a great wire avery first. Then wire compartments. Then an over hanging roof 16 inches higher at the back and down to 9 inches at the front than the Avery. About 18 inches over lapped each side. Slant roof that way so you can always see if anything is on top. The place the inside Wooden floors / grills what have you with the perches, nest boxes etc. So you will have a wire roof below the proper roof whatever water proofing one you choose. Next buy in Air Vents that are attached to the outer ... this made so that they can easiely be replaced with Plastic cladding. Then you will always be able to have an airy, warm / dry loft that allows you to easierly and quickly alter to taste regards the weather. Sliding doors save room and are easier as a rule of the thumb. Yes the whole loft needs to be off the ground for air to flow under.... and wired / airvented to stop any vermin, or mating pigeons from getting underneath. Yes bet your bottom dollar a pair or two will choose to if able or allowed. Good luck.

Whatever happened to name and shame cryteria! Days end I'm afraid, unless the new owner is a decent sort of chappie and sells it to you for the price of the bid - nowt will happen. Be a 'Hole burning in the gut' feeling causes upset and gaining nowt. Wish I was more optimistic, but can't be. Is just like the RPRA that I wrote about on the other thread. The East Midland' then new, and still Mr Carlton spoke one tongue to me and fellow members... smiled with open nonchalent hands after. Samr here mark. Name and shame will be you only slight degree of solevance.

Perhaps got bogged down and too heavy to fly with all the ticks and lice etc. that the Eqvalan-horse-wormer- didn't control ;D ;D
-
If you say so, and believe, great for you. Used to use Strongrip and nary a sign of ticks / lice whatever all season, and that is same but weaker, and not pour on, so yes it does work... If Falconers etc. want to believe and convince us otherwise, so be it. Bet they wouldn't even bother if there weren't some basis of merit. So Iand countless know that it cleans Lice / Ticks etc. but inside and out of the birds, so how come you say it don't / doesn't when it obviously does. Better still why? Surely there is no need for the lengths and pains of yours to try so adamantly to tutrn folks off it!
