Denny club in the Midland Federation held their AGM last week and our delegates knew nothing about 7 races being organised by the Combine and I know we would all wellcome this way forward.

How come Almond Valley Federation are excluded from joining when their boundary is the Scottish Central Combine and they have members from all four Federations in the Scottish Central Combine who are not allowed to compete in it ?.

NO !!! I expect the Officials and or Management Committee to run the club according to its constitution with fairness and compassion for its members whoever they are Ian.

The requisition for an EGM and signed by many more than the constitution required had absolutely no recourse for delay as being uncompetent under SNFC Constitution Rule 10. As the requisition was regarding an unsatisfactory explanation on the Convoying report as brought up for discussion at the AGM which the past Chairman disallowed and refused discussion on the subject by Mr Gareth Rankine.

Could you ever see the SNFC membership ever contemplating racing from Germany or Denmark with 150 + miles of water to cross ?? Naw niver in a million years so why subject youngsters to it.

FlightPath is not produced by Aviguard and the only FlightPath I know of is produced by MICROBIALDEVELOPMENTS sold by Pallats and £5 for 50 birds treated per sachet. Its pretty good stuff if you are into microbes and its designed for avian use specifically destroying and preventing Salmonella through stress,breeding,racing and moult. Trials were carried out in 2004 and were found to increase racing performances although I dont know how they could compare past and present results. The poultry industry use it quite considerably to alleviate disease and the makers have treated billions over the years.

I have cleared many a garden of moles using the claw trap (see post 3 above) But regarding trapping them you have to make sure you place them in a tunnel. To explain further some mole hills are at the end of a tunnel and some are part of a continuation. What to do is dig down through the molehill and make sure their is an inlet and outlet tunnel underneath then you know its a continuing passage that will be used and put your trap in. If their is only one tunnel leading into the mole hill then dont waste you time putting in a trap .

Having experienced racing in both the Midland National and The National Flying Club I would say they were more security conscious than we are here in Scotland.
