  1. You will be extremely fortunate to make contact with the office after 16.00 Hrs due to any work requiring cleaned up before closing time.
  2. Uncle Albert on here downloaded it and has had nothing but problems and cannot get back to Windows 7. Computer nerd friend said always leave new applications for a couple of months to allow gliches time to be rectified. Sounds like good advice.

  6. Aye Wattie, I have noticed the BBC weather forecast has been garbage this year. Almond Valley birds doing 1400+ and great returns.
  7. Interesting, however I purchased a brand new aquarium nearly 5 years ago and filled it with tap water, Put 20 fish in and still to this day have 12 left. My outside pond when it gets a little dirty I put the hose in it and leave overnight to flush it out and they are 10 years old now and yet I always let the birds drinking water sit 24 hours before filling the drinker. The idiosyncrasy of us all.
  8. Any-one with information regarding lib and times from Whitley Bay would be appreciated.

  11. I use Belgica-DE-Weerd who I find to be quick, very efficient and reasonably priced. Contact them on 01206842221.
  12. Never suggested I did not train my birds to drink when in a basket NOR have I ever suggested convoyers are to blame. What I will put to you is If you basket train them to drink from a metal drinker do you not think it becomes confusing for the birds when they are presented with different coloured plastic drinkers also I train in wicker baskets and race from aluminium crates switching to wicker baskets for other races which are mainly dark compared to what they are used to. Youngsters to my mind are confused with differences in transportation.
  13. Being boxed in on three sides with houses my birds almost always land on the tiles and head for the gutters for a drink. Their is nothing I can do about it and accept it as part and parcel of racing. Whether they are recieving water on the transporter is any ones guess however I would at no time blame the convoyer for MY failure to learn them to drink while in a basket. It has already been said == Look In Your Mirror.

  21. Well put Peter and at long last a sensible solution where it will be reported not only in the press but BBC and ITV news. LETS BLOODY DO IT.
  22. I, along with some others can understand where you are coming from however in Saturdays Daily Express page 19 Richard Finnigan along with his wife Judy wrote a piece regarding Seagulls attacking dogs, pedestrians and children being attacked, defecated on etc. Should we be saying Nah nothing we can do ?? NO..We would poison, trap, gas and shoot the vermin and we would besiege the town hall if the council refused to do so. So why the current municipal squeamishness about dealing with Britain's growing seagull menace ?. People are already taking the law into their own hands as there have been reported cases of poisoning and if air rifles aren't being quietly deployed in private operations then !!!. As a nation we are calcified by self-doubt and uncertainty in absurdedly straightforward matters as these, David Cameron has called for a "big conversation" on seagulls I'd make it a small one and keep it to two words CULL THEM. Now Fifer, If he can write in a national newspaper advocating the killing of a protected species we should have the same leeway with raptors.
  23. Why not start the season off with 7 Yearling only races starting 23rd April 2016 then a full old bird programme starting 11th June with the National Gold Cup on 12th August culminating a completion of races on 27th August. Will it happen ?. NO
  24. 10 from 17 Stobbs Camp A/V 59 miles and nothing since 12.15.
