That webcam is 6 miles from Beachy Head. Do you really think they want to risk their lives in a strong wind on the edge of a suicide cliff (the answer is no in case you have any doubts) There are no facilities and the convoyer has already recommended that another site be found because of the danger to UNC employees.

Well done Ken - but to set the record straight Tours was a WDA race only - not an NEHU open race as you have implied. The WDA did not include the NEHU longest channel race - Bourges - in their race programme and decided to go it alone to Tours on the same day

She homed today - though out of race time - she's got secondary flights missing (hawked? cat?) and is a little thinner, but looks OK otherwise She is the only one back in my club so far from 29 sent - 544 mile to me

As the WDA heldover today at Billericay - what are returns like (somebody from the WDA has put on the WDA website site that you got a pasting with returns - which I thought was a little premature)

3 back from Bourges I have heard, in Bedlington, Blyth and Gateshead and all between 8.33 and 8.59 this morning

I'm in North Yorkshire - but 46 miles away from Leyburn - Do you have a post code? - Skipton has a club but that is over 30 miles away from Leyburn (and in North Yorkshire also and a different direction)
