I think you might have got yourself another dropper - there are references to crosses on the forum - and I think they home from short training tosses - but don't 'race' If your other half has taken a shine to the youngster - I wouldn't even think about racing it (evil) Be it on your head !!

you couldn't get any closer than mine - and it doesn't bother them at all - they don't budge an inch - so I doubt that its noise - as these trains pass every 15 minutes - more often at peak times - and we have several run through the night as well (I sleep at the front of the house (evil) )

Clermont 2008 - returns 50% (clashed with Dutch) Melton Mowbray young birds 2008 (lost 6 young birds - 20% - thunderstorm and torrential rain at home end) Melton Mowbray 3 Old birds 2005 (lost 6 - 50%of birds sent) liberated in a thunderstorm - some birds were reported in France from that race)

I had one a few years ago that built an unbelievable size nest - the pair could barely squeeze into it cos the roof was in the way.... not had one like it since - but have a couple with nests the size of yours - and some with barely a straw in - one last year with half a dozen 6 inch nails and nothing else can't comment on how well they might have done as I don't make notes on how big their nests are (maybe we all should)
