  1. 3rd or 4th open in the national during the 80s I bought a cock at his clearance sale, his loft which I think was just up from the leather factory.nice old fella.also think he had a top finish when Peter Scott and nephew won the ybn 1986 into coalburn when the first four birds in the open were in the west section top man Willie Wilson and the great Jackie bunch were in the mix along with mr dalglish, maybe the only time the west had a good young bird national.lol hope this helps.
  2. Thanks Andy.
  3. George coming up on 80 years of age has been a top fancier for over 50 years and as recently as 2017 won all the young bird racess in Bonnybridge hs with the cherry on top winning the section with the SNFC at the last race in the young bird national.he has also this year won the section in the snrpc inland national,I look forward to auctioning these birds for George on Monday night.john

  19. Unfortunately due to big johns health and moving house after 50 years in the sport both John and Elizabeth have decided they must finish up with the birds, the old birds have been raced out to billaricy where they got 7/8 this year with the help of clubmates john and frank, there are 11 cocks and 10 hens with some excellent stock birds and birds which have won and also topped the fed,John over the years has won many club and fed firsts and also flew some great combine birds as well as winning a section/region in both the snfc and snrpc. I will try and get some info on the birds.any questions please pm me.john.
