  2. do the sums danny, makes no sense buying a transporter as you can appreciate being a lanarkshire fed man. ;)
  3. how can we limit the birdage on the 2 most supported races???????? if you want to ask almond valley to transport to the distance races i see no problems with that.
  4. spot on budgie boy. ;)
  5. John is now on the mend after a wee operation a few weeks ago on his spine to help his mobility,he took a walk down for a visit a coffee and to see the doos,he said that he feels great and is looking forward to the new season. :) :)

  11. good gordon :)
  12. well i take it you will fly the lanarkshire programme next year and imo they should all fly peterbourgh which i think will be about 275 mls to yourself and if they do ok you could select a few for snfc eastbourne 2 or 3 weeks later. :) good luck.
  13. see big jims name at the tail end of the ybn result and think this is enough to give him the west section averages in the national,if this is the case a big well done to jim. :) :) :)

  15. WELL DONE TO ALL. :) :)
  16. thanks gareth last daughter of "buckingham belle" we must keep trying, will see you soon m8. :)
  17. surprised and astonished at why people question the fanciers and birds of the west section at the ybn, the race has changed so much over the past 30 years from south domination during the 80s and early 90s to total domination from the east with now the solway fanciers struggling for top ybn open honours,at no time over the past 30 years have west section flyers hit the top spots with 1984 (terrible race,w kerr bishopbriggs)and 1986 (peter scott coalburn)being 2nd and 1st open respectfully these being the top finishes over all these years, imo all the young birds timed over the years into the west are crackers,so surprised at all this scratching of heads about the allegedly historic slow west of scotland youngbirds. ;) as regarding the strength of the west section John i have been a member of the almond valley for 2 seasons flying 25 to 35 miles west of most A/V federation fanciers including yourself and i have been fortunate to record the 1st pigeon fron the SNFC GOLD CUP RACE in each of these seasons,so if my doos are no good enough john!!!!!!!!!! ;) ;) ps well done on winning the averages. :)
  18. well done.
  19. 1/2 bit late but happy to have timed.

  22. 12.40 duns.
  23. we have 16 l/breds and all will be trained over the winter when my mum and dad are away for the messages or if i am at the footie or any other reason we are out and about, they will all have to fly 280-330 miles next year. :) :)
