food for thought frank,think the main thinking on this thread is that most feel we have 1 or 2 races too many.

not anybodys fault del,the nationals are not for the faint hearted,more miles with less doos is not the answer though.

inland race 320mls to larkhall 1st week june. gold cup RENNES/reims/alencon/last week june. 590-610 to larkhall ,nantes/andrezel/tours 1st weekend july old bird/yearling open race fareham/maidstone/eastbourne/salisbury/2nd weekend july. last race 490- 500ml to larkhall racepoint unsure.3rd w/end july.or maybe ypres?????????? ybn as per norm,maybe 2 liberations but thats for another time. ;) we got by for 50 odd years with rennes and nantes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more miles is not the answer.

decided not to send which was very hard to do,but at 680mls to west central scotland not sure if we really need that distance,flew niort a few times 20 odd years ago and with decent returns and more doos about,hope next year we go back to nearer the 600ml mark,good luck to the fanciers who have sent. :)

i always lookout for these game doos,but yes they do some times get overlooked but the real fanciers no the score,well done the westies,best pal john harwood will get a silver award with his good hen 1st 2nd and now 6th in the region. :) :)

got to agree alf,as with all races during modern times over 350 miles getting good returns mostly unusual. :mellow:

well done to all and a special well done to matt stevenson and davie young two great workers in the uddingston club who make sure we get the doos away on a friday. :)

yes its not all fair,we are going to a race next week which is 680mls to central scotland and god nows what the north boys are flying so that you guys can get a 600ml race into the south section,good luck. ;)

my returns are poor bob,only 1 home but have spoken to a lot of fanciers and think the returns are pretty good. :)
