well chris have raced in the scottish national flying club for 35 years and think your opening statement is totally untrue,great flyers in all areas,geography will always dictate but it never deters the real national fanciers,i think you are showing little respect to your fellow national clubmates. <_<
not sure if there is a reason for the terrible returns,history tends to repeat itself and every 5 or 6 years we tend to get a filleting at the longest race whatever the racepoint,although looking at the 3 or 4 years we went to TOURS on our own the returns were excellent considering the distance. :)
