  1. thats tough ian,i was all over the uk as a teenager spending every penny i had buying youngsters some direct off english national winners, my old dad would shake his head on my return!!!!,we still work with the bloodlines from the old gamekeeper a mile up the road who would slip me a youngster when helping with the pheasants,at the time i was unwilling sometimes to accept these birds(i was a foolish boy)very few if any of those non west of scotland types stood the test of time. :)
  2. i support my local team,100% scottish no west of scotland nonsense,glasgows no1 team PARTICK THISTLE.

    me being a poor PARTICK THISTLE fan we will be lucky if we get a couple of players from junior football, :( as most of the clubs in the scottish football league are skint. :mad:
  6. as you say sammy each to their own,we have used garlic in all shapes and forms(powders,oils and probably the best crushed bulbs) since the early 80s and imo is up there as one of the best natural products we can give our pigeons. ;)

  12. having mother in law, brother in law, sister in law our girl and our niece and two nephews for christmas dinner which i will be cooking. :) starting with haddock mouse,sweet potato and pepper soup,turkey and all trimmings (i will do a ham as the brother in law does not like turkey) bread n butter pudding(with ma dads home made jams)grannys girdle buster cake,finishing off with liquers and a selection of cheeses. :) and later on when all the family are away i will have a few wee glayvas and ice with Ann to finish off what will be i hope a lovely day. :D

  24. was 1981 with just under 4,500 birds,not sure of the bloodlines martin but great flying. :)
