  12. imo the birds in general were poor in quality and were not what i would have taken home, the one fanciers birds that did impress me chucked his auction sale half way through a few years ago at blackpool so on principle i had to rule the fancier out. ;)

  15. yes alf another guy who goes about the business of winning channel tickets with not much fuss. ;) the question asked by kingbilly imo not too many come close (if any) to the "broxburn bullit"john mcneil, club fed and national. ;)
  16. nite nite jim, hope your heed isnae sore in the morning. :D
  17. not too sure about this one mick, raced for 5 seasons with the midland boys but unfortunately too many doos were lost racing especially youngsters, was only pointing out that the past few years for the midland fed lads from the snfc channel races have been lean, the traditional route where we all want to race imo is just not possible. :(
  18. have a wee look at the last couple of years from the national channel races and you will not see too many midland fed doos on the result. :( :(
  19. :egyptian:
  20. wee cracker john, last one in the litter. ;)
  21. you got a lovely trophy for 1st section john, think you are now wanting jam on it .enjoy the tickets because they are not that easy to come by. ;)
  22. was at a meeting tonight with jim and he said he had no date planned at the moment.
  23. nail on head bob.
  24. robbie west of scotland type of doo is the type i fly meaning generations bred from and flying into my area ie west of scotland :)price wise i would pay what i could afford depending on how much i wanted the bird. :)
  25. thats tough ian,i was all over the uk as a teenager spending every penny i had buying youngsters some direct off english national winners, my old dad would shake his head on my return!!!!,we still work with the bloodlines from the old gamekeeper a mile up the road who would slip me a youngster when helping with the pheasants,at the time i was unwilling sometimes to accept these birds(i was a foolish boy)very few if any of those non west of scotland types stood the test of time. :)
