Hi, does anybody know how to get the Pigeons listed on the vaccination certificate on East Coast Software

The fancier who started this thread has nothing to learn about the effects of predators on Pigeons around lofts.Like all the rest of us I am sure he is aware of the possible solutions but we are also aware of the constant vigilance of the hawk aficionados around here.As he says "nothing changes".

My birds have been out ranging the skies every day since the end of the 2018 season until now.Since the new year they have ignored the wide open traps and doors and have opted to confine themselves to the loft eating ,drinking and fornicating enthusiastically.I cannot blame them as the sky around here is full of sparrowhawks,peregrine falcons and now golden eagles three miles up the Selkirk road. Training in March and April not to mention racing is going to be such fun this year.

As 2019 dawns I still have a 2001 dark chequered cock tottering about the loft.Only kept for sentimental reasons as it has returned from France three times is this bird the oldest owned by a basics member.

Contrary to my expectations I seem to have made a recovery from the Hogmanay celebrations and I now wish everyone on this site and indeed the whole Scottish pigeon fancy a happy, prosperous and successful 2019.

At my federations AGM where about 70 members attended no one could be persuaded to represent us in the SHU council.Make what you will ofthat!!
