  2. Well done on your win wattie and I’ve been in the pigeons 50 plus years now and I’ve never seen the likes of what happened today for pigeons to do they speeds you need to have special conditions and I never seen anything special about today regarding the wind it’s baffling to me.
  3. Correct hotrod something very wrong here.
  4. The ones that overshoot must learn something that’s if they put the ankers on before they hit the west coast . I don’t understand why they were so fast ?? It wasn’t much off a wind where Iam have we got the correct lib time??? Seems a strange time to let them go ?
  5. If it’s going to be to dodgy from Dunbar they should be brought back to Elsrickle and give us a toss with 50% of our Birdage returned.
  6. Just back fae Elsrickle visibility’s good some low lying clouds in the hills and light east wind.

  9. Kevin I think if we get racing there would be a very good entry as it would be a short programme and let’s face it we want to get the pigeons tested ! The thing is regarding this central marking uddingston isnae big enough for 2000 plus pigeons from the centre section to start with and with all the safety issues that would need to be in place for me central marking would be a no no keep it at club level.
  10. I watch it regularly and they seem to be doing ok without the Racing Pigeon as the main source of food.
  11. Alex I’ve seen this a couple of years ago on two of mine and they were both related I tried steaming it out and that worked but only for a wee while it only appeared just before and after they were paired up but in the winter they were ok I never got to the bottom of it the two pigeons in question eventually went down the tubes . Could be wee quirk in the genes me thinks.
