Thank you for letting us know about the ring it was issued to a club in Kingsteignton not to far away I believe, the secretaries number is 01626 364602 a Mr. Beavis if you would like to let him know he will inform the owner, thanks again.
Hope this might help, the ring was originally issued to the Watford NRFC,the sec, back in 96 was a MR.P.DEARING tel.01923 230279,have searched through the 2010 ring list but cant find that club, perhaps a call to the old sec.might throw up something.
Had a email from Ray Knight at Unikon at 4.24 yesterday afternoon but was basketing the birds and then went to the club so didnt find it until I came back home, better late than never I suppose ?
Didnt bother trying to get a signal set the Unikon manually, got up yesterday morning before 7am and set the Bricon system and again this morning but I see the signal is still showing on the radio clock.?.
I would just like to say that this letter was sent out by Mark Palmer at BRICON to all the people who are responsible for the club equipment, I wonder weather the clubs who have Unikon will be notified by their people,DO clubs who only have Unikon realise what this means, I,m surprised there hasnt been more postings on this.
Have read in the feeding plan that gerry plus should be given 100% Sun,Mon,Tues,it also says that gerry plus is very poor in proteins, surely these are the days when you are supposed to be given proteins.
If they are already flying out I would have still carried on letting them out the moment the work began perhaps keeping them a little bit more hungrier than usual,if they havnt been out yet then I would basket them up and leave them on top of the loft or in view of whats going on,then let them back into the loft by placing the basket a short distance from the door,or if you have a trap put them back in through that way.
I was reading in the VERSELE-LAGA catalogue where it says give 15g of corn on the day of basketing, anyone use their feeding system, certainly doesn,t seem much to me,any views on this.
Not sure if this is what your getting at but when you set up the Bricon eqipment for marking it prints out a A4 sheet with the actual setting time and date of when the base was syncronised with the radio clock or GPS receiver.
Unfortunately this ring was issued direct to someone from the RPRA (racing pigeon headquarters)so you would have to ring them or report it on their website to find out who the owner is.The phone number is 01452-713529 or email, strays@rpra.org,thanks for your concern. 9
Can someone advise me weather or not I am on the right setting for the time on threads,on the time zone settings it reads GMT CASABLANCA-DUBLIN-LONDON-LISBON-MONROVIA,Is this the correct one to be on as although my computer is showing the correct time the time shown on threads is a hour out if you see what I mean.
Just posted a reply on one of the threads and noticed that the time was plus 1 hour, checked back on the time showing on the computer and thats showing the correct time
