North Road Championship ring needs to be reported direct to the RPRA.

All 2010 N rings were issued to the National Flying Club,will have to be reported to the RPRA unless someone recognises it.

If you could manage to get a few youngbirds around you from now on you may able to get them in some training before the end of the year and race them next year as yearlings,some may get lost but at least you have had a few races in the old bird season,if you will pay the carriage I could probably sort you out a pair or two.

Cant remember if it was open to the whole of the UK but the NANTES CENTENARY race comes to mind and what a disaster that was.

Our convoyer does this at every race point before he liberates,hes known as the rocket man amongst the other convoyers, didnt stop the peregrines attacking the birds as they were liberated at Newton Abbot the other week though, the birds can be hit ANYWHERE so you either pack up or send them and take a chance.

Sorry got no 2011 rings but plenty of others,better to put a old ring on than nothing at all.

According to the BHW there were 8 feds at Portland on the weekend including ours,thing is wherever you choose to go there is a good chance of the birds getting hit I,m afraid thats how it is these days,you have a few chooses as I see it,pack up the birds,keep them at home when you think they are somewhere where they are likely to get hit or just keep sending and hope for the best.

Thought there might be some computer genius who as worked out a way of doing it,if there was a way I could forward it on to anyone who wanted it,when you think about it thats probably why its not possible to do.

Does anyone receive the RP on line,just wondering if its possible to forward it onto anyone else.

Just wondered what other members thoughts were on using shredded paper,letters etc as a nesting material,would there be anything in the ink used that might cause a problem.
