Pity you weren,t closer got a 12 bird one here you could have had for nothing.

I have always thought it is best to follow the manufacturers instructions but I do know of some fanciers that inject between the leg and the pigeons body each to their own I suppose.

If their mostly through the moult I would change the feed to 100% barley,this will take off any extra weight they are carrying and they will fly well on it,you could if you want feed say 20%in the morning and the rest at night but personally mine just get one feed per day,but they very rarely get let out through the winter.

Trying to find out who bred this bird and any info on it,purchased out of the RPRA 1 Loft Auction,could someone tell me the secs,details of the club the ring was issued to.

Is there something in there you wish to know as I have one, infact I sent my original copy to a member on here and his wife kindly photocopied and rebound it,cant remember who that was now but as I say I have one if I can help at all.

Why take the chance of possibly upsetting the secretary when it clearly asks that you Please report to the RPRA.

Secretaries change over the years and so not all paperwork gets passed on to the new sec.you may have problems with the early rings but I would of thought the later ones the sec.should have details of whom the rings were issued to.Just a after thought but I have kept every ring list that the RPRA have issued, I believe the first one was in 1973 and I also have every list of rings that as been issued to members of our club going back to 1983 when I became secretary of the club.

The 04Z and 06Z ones were issued to the Midland National FC so sorry cant help with those,they will have to be reported to the RPRA to find out the last owners.

If they are all GB rings I can tell you the clubs where they were originally issued to if thats any help.

Was speaking to a guy last year about flying roundabout and he was telling me that he keeps the hens shut up in the boxes to stop them pairing and the cocks on V perches in the next section,this guy is a very good National,BICC and BBC flyer,perhaps he as better hens than cocks I,m not sure.
