  1. Spoke to Mark earlier,I would think that all systems with GPS will be o.k. but not any clubs that only have a radio clock, not sure on the Scottish members Unikon systems but ours can be set manually.
  2. Cant believe there as been no views on this yet as it could cause SERIOUS PROBLEMS WHEN TRYING TO BASKET THE BIRDS FOR THE NEXT RACE anyone any thoughts.
  3. Dont know if anyone else as realised yet but the Anthorn Radio Station that sends out the signal to set the ETS bases is closed down for almost the next three weeks. When trying to print off the Bricon clock last night for a member who had raced from Tarbes in the NFC I was unable to do so because of no time signal, the Unikon system we have can be set manually but I,m not sure what we can do with the Bricon, will speak with Mark Palmer later,as anyone come up with this problem yet as I say its off for Almost three weeks, need to sort something out before Friday or we wont be able to mark the birds.
  4. Certainly was, think 1990 ypm must be about 70-75 miles an hour.
  5. Tip for ya mate or anyone really who will be using ETS for the first time on their YBs,get your ETS rings allocated to the birds but dont put them on until a couple of days before the first race, you could save yourselves a few quid.
  6. What sort of distances lads.
  7. The 139 yearlings at Fraserburgh were liberated at 05.30 this morning into a LSW wind, all the best to any members who still have birds in the race.
  8. Spoke with Jeremy at the club tonight he thinks theres about 500 birds altogether hopefully they will be away real early,if theres anyone on here near to the race point perhaps you could let us know what the weathers like in the morning. 9. So could the fact you might use open doors,or a stall trap,or a t3 strapped around you the list goes on,you could say that for any race that you might enter.
  10. The RPRA 1 loft race yearlings are travelling up to Fraserburgh hopefully with a liberation tomorrow, this is the final for them with approx 140 flying back to Birtsmorton around 392 miles, they are being liberated with the South West of England Lerwick Club birds.Best of luck to anyone who still as a bird or birds still there, our syndicate the Malvern Maestros have just the one so hopefully he will show up as he did in the last young bird race and won us £760 pool money.
  11. Heres the secs name and number,Mr.Matthew Gale.01472 753477.
  12. British Barcelona Club were held at Niort until today but they liberated at 08.10 this morning, they have members in all parts of the British Isles, you just cannot work out how these race controllers think at times.
  13. Cheers George, been through the RPRA ring list for this year cant find the club in there,SURELY SOMEONE KNOWS THE SECRETARIES NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE KINGDOM RACING PIGEON ASSOCIATION.
  14. Can someone tell me if the club is still a member of the RPRA then,if so I,ll check through this years ring list and see if I can find them.
  15. Cheers Mate knew someone had.
  16. Can someone please give me the number of the present secretaries as I have a G.B.2006 bird in,is it still Mrs.J.Keir.I put this on the KINGDOM RPA site thinking that would be the heading, but it wasnt so have know put the club name up.
  17. Not sure weather or not there is a cost involved for clubs and feds to be on Lib line but surely ANY percentage that is paid back at the end of the year is better than none at all.
  18. Although I rarely use the lib line they can be a useful source of income for the clubs and feds that do use them,at the end of the year they give back a percentage of the money to the organisations that use them.
  19. Think this as confused quite a few people, how did you overcome this to work out your result.
  20. I,m afraid it will,if the birds were liberated at 12.00 flying time would be 3 hours 2 mins by the guy that had his clock set on system b,but infact the flying time should be 3 hours because of the clock being set 2 minutes wrong.
