All 2013 N rings were issued by the National Flying Club so you will have to report it to the RPRA.

Dont always think that someone is racing a yb because it comes back with a race rubber on,I,ve known many fanciers put strays in the baskets that may be from the area where the race is from,they are really giving the bird a better chance of returning home but have to put a rubber on its leg incase someone sees it in the basket and thinks there,s a fiddle going on.

GB 97 V RINGS Were issued by the RPRA so probably hard to trace that one.

Wonder how many have been repatriated.

Loads for sale on Ebay but the cheap ones usually need a new battery so be careful what you buy,cost about £45 for a battery.

Need some advise on the above,is there anyone on site who deals with these things.

Personally I do not like to winter young birds that have not had a race or two,if I have to many birds the end of the season ybs that have not raced are always the first to go,at the end of the day you really are the only one who can make the decision to race them or not.

Is there anyone on site that either lives near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire or maybe knows a fancier in that area,looking through the ring list at the moment to see if there,s a club close,any help would be appreciated.

Have heard of old birds that were held over in the basket for a week or more that developed wing cramp and could not fly out of the baskets,could it be a simple thing like that if they were in the basket for a week.

I,ve actually had one of my youngsters reported by a vet in Uttoxeter dont suppose your anywhere near there are you.

Should also be a letter in between the 3 and 4,may be a help to find your bird,best of luck.

Is there anyone in the Uttoxeter area that could possibly pick up a young bird for me from the vets tomorrow at 71 Derby Rd not to sure yet on its condition as just received the email from the RPRA and the vets is closed.

You can mark everything else on the Unikon system,thats if you have the unives lead, Bricon always supply one with a system but not sure about the others.

Remember seing a full page advert in the BHW nearly every year from Mr.Chapman selling the Westcotts but not sure when the last one was.
