Anybody on here a member of the above club,please could you give me the dates and racepoints for the 2008 programme.

What about the marking station at Alveley near Kiddiminster cant be that many miles from you,or the one at Crewe been there many times,must be twice as far for me.

The Almond Valley fed.were at otterburn on Sat. not to sure where that is but its in the BHW April 18th issue.

Does he have the software as well set up on his computer as you need this to be able to get the velocities.

The reason I posted the above up was because,if you have 2 or3 differant systems in the club the secretary as to have the software loaded onto a computer for each one which causes a lot more work,so if you can keep it that all members have the same it helps no end.

Thats fine if you have the pocket clock,believe they have just put the price back up from £90 to £190,so if you get the system without the pocket clock, sorry but your first sentence is misleading to someone who may not know a lot about the differant systems.

The best thing to do is check to see which system they have in your club,no good getting Unikon if the club uses Bricon, makes it a lot easier for the club officials.

Well if its more than £10.95 the price you said what your paying for your corn then you are being robbed.

The dearest is not allways the best,and after reading most of Chris Gordans writings where he says he feeds nearly all barley and clocks them from the distances he does it certaimly makes you think if we are wasting our money on such high priced feed.

Think there as been a more recent picture than that one Rose think the ring was a light green but I cant find it.

Some time back there was a picture of the said ring on the forum,the ring would be sold without the chip in for people who didn,t use ETS,the chip would be purchased seperate and clipped in the hole on the side of the ring,perhaps someone can find the picture.

Sorry this might be a bit off the original posting but was interested in what you wrote Rose,is this the BICC, as it seems that they may be preventing members from using the ETS which is against RPRA rules.

You are correct ther Mick,if you have a pocket clock you take that to the club to have a race progress report printed off,while you are away any birds that may have arrived will be clocked in on your loft clock then when you get back just drop the pocket clock back in and it will load up the later birds.

The birds aren,t going to the first race now,with the weather being so bad the last couple of weeks they will miss the first race and go to the second one Kingsdown ap,97 miles.Check on the website for details of their training tosses,best position been 81st out of 170 so room for improvement,probably waiting for the big one LOL.

Glad to know most things went o.k. in the end for ya Mick,our first race this weekend,allthough we used it last year still a bit concerned what with all these updates,heard today that members have had a letter fron Unikon about another new update.

Wasn,t aware that W.McAlpine raced the Bricouxs but yes I have the Bricouxs X with the old Sions which I hope will do well from the distant races.

Soon be breaking the world record Slug,set in 1962 New Zealand race from Waiuoro winner doing 2578 ypm.
