When you say everyone was waiting for them do you mean ETS rings in general or just the ones for the benzing.I,m a bit surprised that you even have the clock as a lot of people were getting the same sort of answears when they enquired as to when that would be out.Benzing have allways made a very good clock but i,m afraid they have missed the boat with the ETS.

Everyone as pocket clocks in our club except one do you know what should show up when you plug this Champ Solo on.

Did you get any spare cables with Blue plastic fittings on when you first had your club system as i think you need to connect one of those onto the existing cable then connent into a USB port on the computer,had the same problem connecting the base to my laptop.

Cant find it in the list of RPRA clubs,in which area is it.

You probable got mine,registered to get one in november,got a letter from Unikon conferming that I would be sent one as soon as they were ready,rang up on March 6th as advised, to ask where mine was I was told that it had definately been sent, STILL WAITING, good job I could sort everything out without the disc with racing so close.

Yes we do have to set the time each week.with Unikon its in the base station and with Bricon we connect a radio controlled clock to the base station to set the time.The data from the previous race in the Bricon clock as to be cleared so that you can basket for thr next race,unless one race was still running,not to sure with the Unikon wether its cleared automatically from the pocket clock or wether you could retrieve it at a later date.

Cheers for that Phil,guessed there must be a valid reason,pretty certain Unikon doesn,t work out ave.etc.I feel another update coming on.LOL.

I was wondering why you would need to have a separate result programme when Unikon will know work out the result if your club is all Unikon,would imagine running the two could cause problems.

Any information for Members south of the border as I believe the Scottish system is slightly differant.

Personally i would say thats far to many hours of daylight,mine only have 8 hours between 9 and 5.

There is no mention in the rules that you have to be a RPRA member to join it just say all members lofts must be situated in the UK.There are approx.10 marking stations througout the country and loads of clock stations as well.I believe the race fees are fixed nearer the date of the first race,but if you go onto the NFC web page you should get more info. there.

Only when the differant companies make improvements to the systems do they need to be upgraded.

That will mean another upgrade.LOL.

Well as secretary of our club I have been trying to sought out the upgrades on two systems (Bricon + Unikon) for weeks now,I,m pretty certain that everything is o.k. now,I,ve still got to assign about another 100 rings to members old birds (allready done about 300)but do I regret having the system in our club,A BIG NO.

As the systems get more advanced I would think that most of the companies will have upgrades at differant times.

Cheers Harry for those few kind words but it was no problem,one or two that had originally said they wanted to join the syndicate didn,t send their money but as it was the ones that did made it all work out so i,m not out of pocket.I was actually out at the one loft site last sunday assigning the ets rings to all the birds as they are actually going in our club to the first 3 races inland,they all looked well and as Jeremy says their flying well also,hopefully they will do us some good.The members who sent their money for the syndicate are as follows, FRANK (DOOMAN) ROSE. Yea your right suppose you could use the print out you get when marking the birds depends how differant feds and National clubs see it.
