  1. Hope you dont mind me asking Chichichi but was he paired to the same hen when he bred the 3 1st feds,if so were you not worried about splitting the pair up,or perhaps having the hen instead of the cock, but then again perhaps you have the pair.
  2. In some clubs this could mean that you will have to pay the club fees which in our club is£25,then in some cases you will also have to pay the federation fees which again in our club is £6 plus your rpra fee if it doesn,t go up £4.50,you might be better off staying a individual member.
  3. Perhaps people are at last beginning to realise that it,s false economy just to buy birds in for stock that are say brothers or sisters or sons or daughters of some champion or another and after buying these birds they realise that they are just not breeding anything any good. One seller on here seemed to be more concerned that his stock was one more generation down from the originals than someone else,s so offered the youngsters cheaper,my reply was what differance did it make if they were 10 generatoins from the originals so long as the birds are breeding winners, there was no responce so i guess the youngsters were being sold off birds that wern,t producing winners.Another seller on here just seems to give you loads of abuse when you ask questions about the birds being sold so thats another that I personally wont be buying off.I guess the thing is as many have said before is you pays your money and takes your chance, but i would allways tell anyone dont be swayed by fancy pedigrees or birds that have won multiple races because there is no more guarentee that those birds will breed you winners than birds that have done nothing.
  4. This is exacly what happened as the two guys who I took to the show both bought birds off the same guy.
  5. There are still 2 or 3 members who said they would like to join the syndicate that still havn,t sent me their cheques,I would be very greatfull if you could get these to me as soon as possible.

    SNOW

Was pouring it down at Telford this afternoon when we came out of the show, also had some in Malvern when we got back but hasn,t settled much.
  7. Not sure where you others were at but there was 2 or 3 differant auctions going on at telford today.
  8. Is this a entry for the OLD HENS class Jim. ;D
  9. Surely if the birds you are selling them off are breeding winners it doesn,t matter if their ten generations away.I would sooner you say that the parents have bred x amount of winners than they have bred nothing but are closer to the originals, and I dont mean that Timbarra,s birds are not breeding winners.
  10. I believe the Trentons originate from America where they are very successful at distances up tp 900 miles,I handled some last weekend that were for sale, very strong birds but they were all reds, the Rapido,s are busschaerts which I would say perform up to say 500 miles.
  11. I just cannot believe some of the things you write on here Timbarra, now we are jealous of you because as possible buyers we ask questions about what you are trying to sell.AS a seller I would of thought you would of been only to pleased to answear any questions that people want to ask about birds you wish to sell and not to show the attitude you do towards people.I think your last statement just about sums your attitude up I quote (THE ONE MOST LOVE TO BE JEALOUS OF) You just havn,t got a clue have have you how far you are from the truth.
  12. I dont believe that one single person as said that £30 was not value for money, the question was what as the bird bred quite simple enough i would say,but instead of giving a simple answear Timbarra seems to want to shy away from it.
  13. Surely at the end of the day when people spend there money they would sooner buy off a proven pair of breeders no matter where they are from, the only controversy here is the fact someone asked what the pigeon had bred and I believe there as still been no answear.Perhaps I dont have birds with multiple 1st,s or any birds that will put yours in the shade, but I do have birds that breed me winners in my stock pen and to me i,m not worried where they came from or what they are bred off.Surely I cant be wrong in saying you would sooner have a bird that as bred 21 1st prizwinners than one that as won 21 1st,s,but then who in their right mind would sell a bird that is breeding multiple winners.
  14. I also think that was a fantastic price as you say for a bird that as done so well at racing truly a fantastic racer if that is what you take into consideration when buying birds, now to me if someone had put a advert on here saying they had caught a pair of birds off the local church didn,t know nothing about them but they had bred 6 youngsters off them and they all won i know which birds I would have the younsters off.
  15. I would think that it would still be on but there wont be any birds allowed there.
  16. What do you think of our sec,he,s Club sec, treasurer, clock setter, helps to basket the birds, also runs the clock station for the NFC,CSCFC and the MCC,FED delegate, also on the fed emergency committee, sorted out all about the ETS,works out the result on a saturday, and as been doing nearly all that for 25 years. It,s our AGM in 2 or 3 weeks do you think he will carry on.Of course I will I love it. ;D
  17. Surely there must be a good reason why this guy wasn,t allowed into the club and i got a feeling it wasn,t because their scared he will beat them all.
  18. SO you have applied to join a club you are accepted as members then you withdraw your application.
  19. Can you explain whythe5 applications were withdrawn if they had allready been accepted and who withdrew them.also how come the guy resigned if the person he didn,t want in the club was not accepted anyway.Strange posting to me.
  20. Think you got it 100% there Ace,that was the first thing that i thought when i saw it,I believe that the other big company thought they were going to get all the business and Bricon as surprised them.
  21. Cant understand where the RPRA get the non compatability thing from as we and another club close by have used the bricon with other makes and had no problem at all.I can see the problem about being able to enter your own birds into the clock before allocating the chip rings to them but even then when you print out the list of birds it is just the same as any other system.
  22. Very simuler looking birds Frank lets hope the 2007 bird flys as well as the 2003.
  23. Well we certainly have a couple of cracking looking birds so here,s hoping. If anyone else would like to join the syndicate just let me know.
  24. The bad apples fall closer to the tree than the good ones,Think about it.
  25. They were lots 70 and 75 JEZ.in the auction think the ring numbers are 07.s.90107 + 07.s.92006.
